Key learnings of Cargo Drone mission for UN in Dominican Republic – Presented by Barry Koperberg, Wings for Aid, at Unmanned Cargo Aircraft Conference, which will take place on November 28, 2018, at RAI Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Together with DLR, Wings for Aid has run a 2-week Cargo Drone mission program for the World Food Program in the Dominican Republic. During the mission, we have simulated ‘last-mile’ delivery problems and have bridged them by the use of a 20kg delivery box and an unmanned helicopter. During the presentation, we will share key learnings on logistics, flight permits, stakeholder reactions and the like. We look forward to an interactive session to gain new insights ourselves and decide on new pilot projects with partners.
