Albatros UAS flies over Eindhoven, The Netherlands
Albatros UAS bv has flown a crowd control mission for the Eindhoven Police on 26th february, during the PSV – Feyenoord soccer match. In two flights of each nearly two hours a ‘Corteo’ was followed through the city, a few hundred people attending.
Traffic was monitored around the stadium and arriving trains with Feyenoord supporters checked. Also public galleries in the stadium were checked.
The Dutch CAA (ILenT) was on duty during the mission, with two inspectors attending the operation on the spot.
Police and Albatros were positive on the results after the mission, but both also agree that a lot was learned and ongoing developments are required.
