Fully-Autonomous Guidance for UAS (VIDEO)

AEVO GmbH develops software for real-time guidance of highly autonomous vehicles.

The in-house-developed algorithms are deterministic, globaly optimal and complete – they generate complete trajectories in real-time with the corresponding control. In this video we demonstrate fully autonomous target surveillance (6D).

An unmanned fixed-wing vehicle equiped with a fixed sensor (sensor footprint is shown in white) is tasked with the imaging of a moving target (red cube).

When the target is stationary, the UAV circles it and climbs to increase its footprint; when the target moves, the UAV autonomously adapts its trajectory and guidance in real-time to keep the target within its sensor footprint.
