The Economics of Unmanned Cargo Aircraft – Presented by Anthony Pizarro, Romaeris Corporation, at the Unmanned Cargo Aircraft Conference, on 20 March 2018 at the North Carolina Global TransPark, USA. Read the interview
To date, a number of studies have suggested that there are viable business cases for UCA in certain niche markets such as where infrastructure is poor. These potential markets certainly exist and will likely be the starting point of the industry. However, UCA also have the potential to alter mainstream cargo markets significantly. To capitalize on such opportunities, UCA manufacturers and prospective operators will need to offer more concrete capital and operating cost information and create new, disruptive partnerships with other parties in the cargo transportation market.
