Rob Hagmeijer, general Manager of Keycodes B.V., confirmed to present at the Unmanned Cargo Aircraft Conference. His presentation will contain his view and information about “Intelligent Load Planning for UCA”.
Load planning, i.e., assigning load items to cargo bays in a cargo aircraft, is presently done by hand world wide. This results in sub-optimal load plans in terms of fuel consumption, cargo handling turnaround times, and sometimes even in violation of one or more of the large number of restrictions such as structural load limits. Intelligent load planning consists of software-based optimization of load plans which comply with aircraft, airline and IATA regulations. Automatic optimization of an all-cargo B747-F will be demonstrated, and UCA-specific aspects wiil be discussed during the presentation of Rob.
