Unmanned Cargo Aircraft have the future. They offer logistic breakthroughs and a number of new business models. However, introduction of unmanned cargo aircraft also encounters many hurdles. Research and development is needed in areas like logistics, technology, infrastructure, legislation, social effects and security. Drone Delivery Canada selected to participate in Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight Pilot Project

Drone Delivery Canada is pleased to announce that Transport Canada has selected DDC to participate in the department’s Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight Pilot Project (the “Pilot Project”). The Pilot Project will advance its Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (“BVLOS”) capabilities in Canada and will further DDC’s capabilities in the Moosonee and Moose Cree First Nation communities in Northern Ontario, Canada commencing in the summer of 2018.
