A more efficient way to handle cargo and develop integrated systems solutions and inclusive transport systems.

It is intended to provide an overview of cargo handling thought for cargo airplanes from the beginning of airframe definition.

Question 3: What emerging technologies/trends do you see as having the greatest potential in the short and long run?
In a short term the unmanned vehicle technologies will address infrastructure needs, as the operation to remote areas and rapid/precision deployment. In a long run, the benefit that comes with the unmanned technologies will build up into an optimized and more efficient logistics for military and commercial applications need.

A more efficient way to support product developers to end-users goods demands.

Question 5: What are the barriers that might stand in the way?
The harmonization of Unit Load Devices for new Cargo Handling systems with current standards. Safety regulation and control of unmanned vehicles leading to operation restrictions.

Defined and developed Cargo Handling System (CHS) solutions for Militaries and Commercials Aircraft (CHS consists of integrated functional mechanisms and logics based on operational concept for cargo transport vehicles). Successfully defined the concept of operation for a new generation Cargo Airplane and the certification strategy, including coordination of flight tests for aerial delivery operations. Led the certification and the design evolution for several others CHS electro-mechanical equipment’s, including safety critical items related to Aerial Delivery.
