Joe Melvin, CEcD North Carolina Aerospace Corridor, will speak at Unmanned Cargo Aircraft Conference
In his role as Director of Business Development for North Carolina’s Southeast, Joe Melvin utilizes his business and public administration experience to develop and oversee the NC Aerospace Corridor in conjunction with leaders from Craven, Lenoir and Wayne counties. (The North Carolina Aerospace Corridor is centrally located on the eastern seaboard of the United States and offers unparalleled access to domestic and global markets by way of highways, rail, air and multiple deep-water ports.)
Joe also manages aerospace related projects in the region working with companies like Spirit AeroSystems, U.S. Cargo Systems and Lockheed Martin. His background includes positions with state and local government, as well as the administration of federal programs which have provided the NC Aerospace Corridor with extensive knowledge on how to meet and exceed the emerging needs of Aerospace related industries.
