Development from intermodal to synchromodal transport. Is your company ready? – Presented by Guy Somers, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, at the Cargo Innovation Conference, which will take place on Jun 07, 2018, at Maaspoort, Venlo, The Netherlands.

Based on a research of Fontys University of applied sciences and Rotterdam University of applied sciences a maturity model has been made to classify companies in different levels of maturity, whereby companies also receive advice on various aspects in order to grow continuously. Offering intermodal and synchromodal transport is step one, acceptance and implementation is step two. Are customers ready for it? Do they accept synchromodal transport? And if they accept these modes of transport, how much are they willing to pay for it?
