These days, people refer to them as “drones”. But drones are not Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and UAM isn’t an Unmanned Air Vehicle. So why all the fuss about names? We’ll to begin with, one segment of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) has been around for over 100 years. This presentation will explain the differences – and why such differences “make a difference” thank just a name.

Conceptual Study on Docking-Undocking Unmanned Ground-Air Delivery System

This presentation describes the concept of unmanned delivery system; short-range autonomous unmanned ground vehicle (droid) which is responsible for the final delivery to the destination, long-range unmanned air vehicle (UAV) which is equipped with the mission delivery module, and docking-undocking technology between the ground and air unmanned vehicles.
