Craig Lippett, Head of RPAS Training will give a presentation on Remote Pilot Training for Small RPAS Operations during the UAS Event.
Craig Lippett is an experienced aviation professional having 26 years of service in Air Traffic Control, Airspace Management and more recently, RPAS Training Development and Delivery. A heritage of training development and delivery specialism in the UK military has brought him into Resource UAS to programme manage the establishment of a RPAS Training focused aviation business unit to deliver foundation training to meet the needs of the RPAS industry going into the future. Craig is a UK CAA accredited RPAS Instructor and project managed the recent award of Qualified Entity status to Resource UAS for the assessment of remote pilot competency in the UK.
Resource UAS, an operating division of Resource Group Ltd, is based in the UK and is established to deliver a range of training and assessment services into the RPAS industry. Recently awarded Qualified Entity status by the UK CAA, Resource UAS is authorised to provide Remote Pilot assessment to enable the issue of a Permission For Aerial Work (PFAW) and can make recommendations to the CAA on that basis. In addition, Resource UAS provides a range of outsourced third party training programmes for RPAS Manufacturers, distributors and operating organisations as well as Remote Pilot Foundation training for international military customers. Finally, the Service Delivery element provides call out contract RPAS support to a number of Emergency Services in the South-West of the UK.
