Rwanda government signs agreement with US-based company for drone infrastructure (Video)

The government of Rwanda has signed an agreement with US-based Zipline International for an infrastructure for drones, which will deliver medical supplies throughout the country.

The drones will not encounter difficulties from the challenging terrain faced by existing transportation, improving the efficiency of health supply chains.

Zipline’s CEO, Keller Rinaudo said: “In automating their supply chain using unmanned aircrafts, Rwanda is investing in innovative technology that will improve public health services and save lives.”
